Burns Night
It is common knowledge among Scots men and women and lovers or descendents of Scots, that Burns night is an event you can't miss. It has been part of the Scottish culture for over 200 years and each year gathers Burns aficionados and novices who wish to commemorate the national Bard with great Scottish food, drink and hospitality. As a unique Scottish occasion, it has become a popular celebration in which we welcome everyone to join us!
So, whether you are on a beach, or a mountain, with friends, or family...a haggis lover or a sworn enemy...there's always a place for you at the burns dinner table, as long as you don't miss the most important ingredient of the night: FUN!
Burns Supper Format
There is a traditional ritual followed by many Burns Suppers but only three absolutely essential elements, Burns himself – in a toast, a poem or a song, haggis or some other great Scottish food and hospitality.
All the rest is up to you and your imagination!

The Burns Supper is a great chance to experience excellent traditional menus of Scottish cuisine, so go on and indulge! There are a lot of recipes to experiment with and a list of suppliers who can provide you with all the necessary ingredients of the supper.
...But even if you're not prepared to try the traditional side of Scotland, thou shall not fear as we have a number of alternative options to suggest, so under no circumstances will you have to rely on the haggis as your only way to survive the night!
