Burns Supper & Iconic Burns Highlights
Thousands converged upon Ayrshire on Saturday 24th January for a celebration of Robert Burns' life and work. At Iconic Burns, a spectacular visual tribute to the bard, the public were treated to a sound and light extravaganza, whilst the Official Homecoming Burns Supper, also staged in Alloway, honoured both Burns himself and many of those who keep his legacy of alive in the world today.
The Homecoming Burns Supper was created and produced by Red Sky at Night for Homecoming Scotland.
All songs and poems were written by Robert Burns.
An original script was written especially for the occasion by John Murtagh.
